Terms of Service
Standard operational guidelines and legal agreements governing the use of Pluto software, local node runtimes, and Hylunian services.
1. Company Entity and Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "Operator") and Hylunian ("Company", "we", "us"), the engineering organization responsible for developing Pluto. These Terms govern your access to the website located at hylunian.com, Pluto application binaries, command-line interfaces, daemon services, container configurations, and associated software distributions.
2. Desktop Architecture and Operator Responsibility
Pluto operates as an autonomous software operator for your desktop environment. It possesses the capability to run shell subprocesses, manage containerized environments, compile documents, schedule calendar events, and inspect workspace directories on your machine.
By deploying or operating Pluto, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:
- You maintain absolute supervisory control over your workstation operating system, file access permissions, and container daemon privileges.
- You assume sole responsibility for reviewing and verifying all commands, terminal scripts, destructive shell operations, and file mutations initiated by or through Pluto.
- Hylunian shall not be held liable for accidental file deletions, filesystem corruptions, dependency conflicts, or hardware instability resulting from commands authorized on your local host.
3. Beta Testing Cohort (Late November 2026)
Access to the private developer beta beginning in Late November 2026 is granted on a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive evaluation basis.
Pre-release builds and release-candidate binaries are provided solely for research, testing, and feedback. Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete modules, or evolving APIs. Hylunian reserves the right to modify specifications, update node protocols, or retire beta builds without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property and Output Ownership
User Output: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all code, compiled research notes, SQLite databases, project files, and artifacts produced on your local workstation through your operation of Pluto. Hylunian asserts zero intellectual property claim over your local work.
Hylunian Proprietary Rights: The Pluto core runtime, source code, visual branding, logo assets, architectural designs, algorithms, documentation, and trade names remain the exclusive intellectual property of Hylunian.
5. Third-Party Integrations and Model APIs
Pluto interfaces with third-party platforms including Google Calendar, Chromium, DuckDuckGo, Telegram, WhatsApp, and third-party AI model providers. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and developer policies. Hylunian does not warrant the continuous availability, API stability, or operational accuracy of external services.
6. High-Risk and Mission-Critical Exclusion
Pluto is engineered as an engineering operator and desktop intelligence system. It is not designed, certified, or intended for use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, including medical devices, air traffic control, nuclear installations, or autonomous physical life-safety systems without deterministic human-in-the-loop verification.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Pluto and all related Hylunian services are provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Hylunian, its founders, engineers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or system downtime arising out of your use or inability to use Pluto.
9. Governing Law and Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to Hylunian software shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the competent courts of Gujarat, India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
